Partition tablePartition table is a table in the master boot record of a hard disk that specifies how the disk is set up. It contains such information as the size and location of partitions, which operating system each partition uses, and from which partition the computer will boot.
 I have just upgraded from Acronis True Image 6.0 to version 8.0 and I am impressed. I needed to use the incremental facility urgently as I realised that it was over 12 months since my last full backup! I shall not hesitate to recommend Acronis True Image to my UK colleagues as a powerful, easy to use tool, that can be relied on.
